luster is not consistent on each side of pearl, one side may be good, the other very dull and white. Was not pleased with these.

Sorry to disappoint you. Many nugget pearls like that - one side has very good luster but the other side does not. Nugget pearls with good luster on both sides are very low in production, and they are more expensive.
