One of the strands became unattaced from the clasp when trying this on for the first time. Also, this is not individually knotted, and does not specify this in the description.

Hi Barbara,
The necklace is designed NOT to knot by each pearls. Because we need to arrange the black and white pearls in order to show the style. If we knot each pearls, it is very hard to control the length. As knotting will change length. Hope you understand.
The strand may be damaged during shipping. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, feel free to return them for replacement.
