For the look I give them 100. They look magnificent. However I am disappointed because they are not real pearls, more and they get scratch.

Dear Laura,
We describe them correctly as SHELL pearls. Shell pearls are made of big sea shells which lay on the bottom of sea bed. Manufactures cut the big shell into different shapes, and then manually coat them to create all kind of color effects of pearls. Technically, they are one type of imitation pearls but are much better than the glass or plastic pearls.
Shell pearl cost is only a fraction of real pearls. Real pearls of these size and shape would cost hundreds of dollars.
